Eddie is the wise old sage of the group (think Mr. Miyagi or Yoda). Maybe not a sage, but he is old. Like 2-3 years older than any of us, which is practically ancient. But he didn’t always start out that way – he was actually born at a very early age.

Eddie’s a true Texan – wears cowboy boots, likes to hunt and fish and camp out, and falls into this weird drawl when he talks to his parents on the phone. And he’s deeply interested in Texas history. He even figured out how to attend five different colleges just so he could learn about all the unique cultures that make up Texas.

He applied that knowledge to advertising, working at some of the biggest names in the industry. He even won a bunch of national and international awards for his work on a major airline. Clearly, a creative guy. But awards don’t mean much to Eddie; he just likes to create – whether it’s designing a logo in Illustrator or woodworking a Rube Goldberg-esque whiteboard for the office. Of all the guys at Black Lab Creative, Eddie has the most experience (there’s that “old” thing again).

But one fateful day, Eddie started working at an agency that put him in contact with three much younger guys. Together, they went on to form Black Lab Creative, and created a paradigm shift within the advertising industry by establishing an agency that cares about its clients, listens to them, partners with them, and works hard to achieve their objectives. New-fangled creativity, old-school relationships.
